Top Ten Tuesday: Book Titles That Are Questions

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

I asked the Internet to give me stock photos related to the word question, and it delivered someone wearing a cardboard box over their head. They’re tapping the side of the box with one hand while making a quizzical gesture with their other arm.

I can’t stop giggling at this image and hope you all find it amusing as well. The internet really is full of surprises, isn’t it?

Let’s move on to the list.

1. What’s the Use of Walking If There’s a Freight Train Going Your Way?: Black Hoboes & Their Songs

  1. I see you also have the Androids and Waldo, they are quite universal.

But I love some of your other titles, What’s the Use of Walking If There’s a Freight Train Going Your Way?, How Do Witches Fly?, 4. What Killed Jane Austen? They all sound quite fascinating.

Thanks for visiting my TTT earlier.

  2. Oooh, Where’s Waldo? is perfect! I’ve seen Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? on several lists this week (mine included), but the rest of yours are new to me. I love that you used non-fiction books also! I have one on my list, but NF seems very underrepresented this week.

    • Thank you!

I’ve noticed that nonfiction isn’t mentioned as much in general in most Top Ten Tuesday posts. No idea why that might be, but it’s fascinating.

  3. Haha, love the image! Where’s Waldo is an awesome choice! So many hours of enjoyment for me and my kids. How Do Witches Fly sounds awesome! I had a few science-y books for my list, but didn’t end up including them once I filled up with fiction. (One was Do Fish Drink Water? — so much fun.)

  4. You found some good questions as book titles for this week’s TTT! I almost put Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep on mine, but then decided not to because I’ve used that book/title for several other TTTs, so I tried to go with some other new-for-me titles. 🙂

  5. Great list Lydia. You always come up with books that are new to me. I only recognized 5 of these, so will be checking out the others to see what they are about.

  6. Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is such an intriguing title, and I’m mad I didn’t think of it myself!
