This is such a lovely, creative take on this week’s TTT!! I love that you have the trans-Siberian orchestra is on this list too!

  2. This is such an awesome take on this week’s prompt, Lydia! How creative and fun 😃 I love the song choices and I think the genre picks are also so spot on!

  3. Oh, this is a fun take on today’s tag. I like this idea. 😀

  4. “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” IS a movie! It’s become a tradition in my family. It features Jonathan Taylor Thomas (a spoiled lad of privilege who cares little for Christmas beyond it being a break from school and an opportunity to go on vacation) trying to win back the heart of his girlfriend by getting home for Christmas after being left in the desert with a glued-on Santa suit. Road trip + comedy with a romantic twist, I guess!

Loved your take on the theme. I’m still trying to complete my list!

  5. What a fun twist this week! I especially love Wizards in Winter. That would be a great book title!

  6. All I Want for Christmas is You would be such a cute holiday romance. And I’ll Be Home For Christmas sounds like one I would enjoy. Maybe a WW II-era historical.

  7. What a fun post! I love the sing I’ll be home for Christmas. Silver Bells would be a great sweet romance.

  8. What a great topic! I don’t know a lot of these, but I’d be up for movie versions of Eight Candles and All I Want For Christmas is YOu, for sure!

This is such a fun take on this week’s TTT. I’m surprised All I Want For Christmas Is You hasn’t been made a holiday rom-com already tbh!

Ooh, what a wonderful choice for this week’s freebie!

  11. I would love a book based on Mariah Carey’s song! That would be so fun!

  12. Oh I love your take on the topic!

  13. This is such a clever take on the prompt! All I Want For Christmas is You is totally a rom-com, hehe.

  14. I love it! I am so onboard for these books. 🙂 Happy holidays!

  15. You’ve got me humming along with a number of the songs. Spot on with your genre’s.

  16. I like these picks! All I Want for Christmas could be so fun! And TSO is awesome.

  17. Okay, I love what you did with the topic this week!! So creative! And you’ve got some excellent songs on here!

  18. What a fun and unique take on this week’s freebie. You made such great music and book connections. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.

  19. Great twist on the topic – like they did with ‘Last Christmas’! Baby it’s Cold Outside would be fun, I think the song’s from a film originally but never watched it.

  20. This is a fun spin! I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus might be a fun rom-com 😂😂😂

  21. This is a fantastic idea. Why isn’t it a thing?!

  22. What a fun topic! I need to be more creative with these freebies 😂 You have some of my favorites listed here! I also love Christmas/Sarajevo by the Trans Siberian Orchestra. A very popular figure skating Christmas show song to skate to and I find it just so beautiful! Great TTT as always!

  23. I was just thinking about the lack of fantasy based Christmas stories; you’d think a holiday with such pagan roots would have more to lend to such stories. Now I want to read Wizards in Winter as a book! A great list, as usual, and a fun twist on the typical Christmas freebie!

  24. What a creative take on the post!

Thank you for stopping by my TTT as well!

  25. I love your twist on this week’s topic! I definitely need some festive historical dramas in my life.

  26. What a fun take on this week’s TTT! 😀

  27. Such a cute take on the topic! Love it

  28. You’ve nailed ‘All I Want for Christmas’ – I’m surprised that isn’t a romcom book yet!

  29. This is such an interesting and unique topic choice, it really has me thinking about which Christmas songs would make good books. I love that you added different genres to each song too!

  30. What a fun spin on this week’s topic! Love it

  31. I love what you chose to do with this week’s freebie. Now I’m stuck singing and imagining the stories these songs would create. Fantastic job!

  32. Love this idea for a prompt today! I think there is enough drama in this song to make a good book: “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause.”

  33. What a fun take on this prompt! I agree with all of them.

  34. This is such a fun twist! I’d totally read Candy Cane Lane.

  35. Love this take on this week’s freebie. I’d definitely read books based on some of these songs.

  36. Nice twist on the topic.

Thanks for visiting my TTT earlier.

  37. Fun! I’m not very creative, so I can’t think of any more songs that would make great books although I’m sure there are lots. I love Christmas songs!

    Happy TTT!

  38. This is a lovely take on this week’s TTT! And I adore Baby, It’s Cold Outside. The movie too.

  39. Louise @ Foxes and Fairy Tales

I love this weeks twist. You’ve really captured the spirit of the songs.

  40. Oh, such a fun take on the topic! I’d love to watch Baby, It’s Cold Outside, it sounds like fun 🙂

  41. I love your topic! So creative and I love most of these songs. I’ve been obsessively listening to Baby, It’s Cold Outside. 🙂

  42. This is a very creative prompt! 🙂

  43. Kri

If you start it I will so Collab or we can do a short story! Lets do it – all of us bloggers together! :O

But yes, I sooo agree. I hadn’t thought of that but off I go to make little short stories after Christmas songs – maybe i will actually do it and release my first book cause the one im working on now is utter writers block!

  44. I like your spin on the topic! I’m a bit obsessed with Christmas music and have been listening to it since Thanksgiving. I’d happily read books based on songs!

  45. Someone needs to get writing some of them because I think that is such a creative idea! I also think Last Christmas would be a good one!

  46. What a fun topic! I love all of your choices too. 🙂

  47. Donna van Eck

Omgosh!!! this is a great idea and someone totally needs to make these. 💕

  48. Interesting idea for a prompt! I also have to say, I find it strange that the only Hanukkah songs that Christians know tend to be songs that I as a Jew have never heard of? I’d never heard either that Eight Candles or Festival of Lights songs before. I wonder where they came from?

  49. I watched Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” a few days ago. It’s nice to see they made your list.

Thanks for checking out my post!
