Croaked

This is the story of a young girl who finds a dead frog and decides to bring it back to life. It’s one of the strangest and most creative short films I’ve seen in a long time. To be honest, I still don’t know what to make of it, although I did love the ending.

What did you think of it?

I’ve ended my longstanding boycott of Discus commenting. I’ve been reading you, just not commenting because, well, for some reason Discus and I just don’t seem to get along. Anyway, I think we’ve made up and we’re past it now.

This video is really cute! It sort of reminded me of my nephew. He found a dead frog. I mean really dead, like dried out dead. He found himself a jar, punch some holes in the lid, filled it with water, and added the frog. When his mom(my sister) found it sometime later and asked him what on earth he was planning to do with it he said he was just tryin’ to help it. It looked like all it need was some water.

She said, “Son, I don’t think you can help him. He’s dead.” To which he replied, “Well, I thought it would come back to life!”

    • I’m so glad you got it to work! A few other people have told me that they’ve had problems with Disqus as well. What exactly was going wrong with it for you?

That’s a great story. Your nephew sounds smart and adorable. 🙂

I could never get it to keep me signed in and it automatically assigned me a username that was ten miles long with numbers instead of allowing me to use my WordPress credentials so every time I wanted to leave a comment I had to go find the email that had my username in it and copy and paste. It wouldn’t let me change it, either.

Recently I wanted to leave a comment somewhere so I gave it a shot and, voila!, it let me use my WP credentials. I’m not sure what they’ve changed, but so far it’s working.

Heh! He is smart and adorable. He takes after his aunt. 😀 His *other* aunt.

  2. The desire to do something we think is the right thing to do doesn’t require that others understand our motivations. Often, they don’t understand, and often they will think what we have done is wrong.
