As you skim your eyes to the top of the tree, it gradually transforms into the face and upper body of a white woman with long hair. It’s hard to tell where the tree ends and woman begins as some pen strokes are purposefully vague from what I can tell. Sometimes limbs look like branches or hair looks like leaves at a certain point. This is a lovely and surprising piece of art.
