I learned all of these words from the same Mastodon post earlier this month. Isn’t it nice when things like that happen?

From the 16th century. It means fresh hope and a recovery from despair.

 

Gruntled

happy or contented; satisfied

 

Gormful

Sensible; not foolish, senseless, or gormless.

 

Ruthful

compassionate or sorrowful.

causing or apt to cause sorrow or pity.

 

Feckful

Powerful, effective, efficient, vigorous.
