I am grateful for all of the Top Ten Tuesday participants who blog about nonfiction and enjoy talking about it. One of my quiet hopes for the future for this blog hop is that we’ll get even more nonfiction readers to join in on the fun.
With those thoughts in mind, here are eleven nonfiction books on my TBR list that I’m excited to read.

6. How to Be Resilient: Simple Steps to Embrace a Positive Mindset and Build Inner Strength by Gail Gazelle MD
7. Happy to Help: Adventures of a People Pleaser by Amy Wilson
8. The Meteorites: Encounters with Outer Space and Deep Time by Helen Gordon
9. Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Pérez
10. How to Share an Egg: A True Story of Hunger, Love, and Plenty by Bonny Reichert
Which genres, if any, do you wish you saw represented more often in TTT posts?
While I know there are great nonfiction titles in the world, I think I could count on one hand the titles I’ve read that one could find in the nonfiction bookstore section. Maybe someday I’ll read more of them. 🙂

I love seeing all the nonfiction books on your list. I haven’t read the two books by Kimmerer, but I loved Braiding Sweetgrass. There’s another Lydia Kang book that I read about illness and it was fantastic!

Count me in! I’m an avid nonfiction reader. I greatly enjoyed the work of Robin Wall Kimmerer. I haven’t read anything else on your list, but I look forward to seeing what you think of these once you have read them.

You always remind me that I need to do a better job of reading nonfiction! 🙂 It’s easy to get caught up in the fiction world, but I love seeing more people exploring a passion for nonfiction. Pseudoscience sounds like a really interesting read!

I have actually read more nonfiction this past Summer than I usually do. I recently read a very entertaining nonfiction book called The Mystery of the Exploding Teeth and Other Curiosities from the History of Medicine by Thomas Morris. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

Elephants in the Hourglass and The Meteorites are the two on your list that I would probably really like. I’ve been trying to read more nonfiction this year and just finished Ann Hood’s memoir Fly Girl. 😀

I go through nonfiction phases but I haven’t been in one in a very long time. If you ever see pictures of my bookshelves, you’ll see doors on the bottom- the nonfiction is behind those doors. When I do read nonfiction, numbers 6 and 7 are the type of books I read.

Gathering Moss and The Serviceberry have been on my TBR list too ever since I finished Braiding Sweetgrass last November. I want to read Invisible Women, too.
I agree that nonfiction isn’t generally well represented on TTT posts. I try to mix up my genres to show a little bit of everything that I read—which includes NF—but I do tend to read more fiction than non, so that’s what gets shown more often on my blog.
That makes total sense.

Oh, these look really interesting! I’ve read Invisible Women, and Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, but not Gathering Moss yet. I’ll have to look at the other ones too!
I’m really not much of a non-fiction reader, but I do enjoy learning about the options out there, and every once in a while actually track down one of the books I see mentioned!
